Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Markaroo Solutions ("Markaroo", "we", "us") handles personal data through Tanikhi, our website audit service: this website, the audit request form and the private report links we send. We are the Data Fiduciary for this data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
Summary
- We collect only what you type into the request form, and use it only to prepare and send your audit and talk to you about it.
- We don't sell your data, and we only send you marketing if you tick the optional box.
- We email you once to confirm your request. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after 7 days.
- Private report links stop working after 15 days, and the online copy is deleted then.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time: markaroosolutions@gmail.com.

When we audit a website we analyse information that is already public: the site's pages, Google PageSpeed data and the business's public Google Business Profile. Public pages can contain personal data (for example a named owner or a contact email). We use it only to produce the audit.
The public pages of this website set no cookies and use no analytics or advertising trackers. The private Tanikhi tool used by our staff sets one essential sign-in cookie.
3. Consent and legal basis
We process your form details on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the required box, for the purposes listed above. Marketing emails need a separate, optional consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing markaroosolutions@gmail.com; withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, but we may then be unable to complete your audit.
4. Who we share data with
We use these service providers (Data Processors), under contract, only to run Tanikhi:
- Render (hosting; servers in Singapore): runs this website and stores audit requests, feedback and shared report links on its disk.
- Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3; Mumbai region by default): stores the PDF copies of audit reports we prepare, privately and encrypted.
- Resend (email delivery; United States): sends the emails about your request (confirmation, report link, feedback invitation) and alerts to our team.
- Our email provider: the inbox where we receive and answer requests.
- Google (PageSpeed Insights and Places API): receives the website address, business name and city to fetch public speed and Business Profile data.
- Anthropic (Claude AI): receives the audit findings about the website, which can include business contact details published on the website or Google listing, to help draft parts of the report. It never receives the details you type into our form. A person reviews everything before it is sent.
Some providers process data outside India. The DPDP Act allows this, except to any country the Government of India restricts, and we will follow any such restriction. We may also disclose data where the law requires it. We never sell personal data.
Within Markaroo, only team members who need it to prepare your audit can see your request. Each has their own sign-in, and our app records who handled each request.
5. How long we keep data
- Unconfirmed requests: deleted automatically 7 days after the request if you don't confirm.
- Audit requests and feedback: kept for up to 12 months after the last activity on the request, then deleted automatically, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Emails in our inbox follow the same rule.
- PDF reports: kept in private storage for up to 12 months, then deleted automatically.
- Shared report links: the online copy is deleted automatically 15 days after the link is created, or earlier if we switch it off.
- Rate-limit data: held in memory only, cleared within 24 hours.
- Usage statistics: our app counts page requests, response times and errors so we can keep it working. These counts contain no IP addresses, names or email addresses, and daily totals are kept for 35 days.
- Hosting logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security, and as required by law.
6. Shared report links
Your report link contains a long random code that cannot practically be guessed, and it is hidden from search engines. Anyone who has the link can open the report until it expires, so please share it only with people you trust, such as your web developer.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, where we no longer need it for the purpose you consented to;
- stop marketing emails, or withdraw consent;
- nominate a person to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity.
Email markaroosolutions@gmail.com with your name and the email address you used in the form, so we can confirm it is you. We aim to reply within 30 days, and always within the time the law allows.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your complaint, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Security
We use HTTPS throughout, keep the staff tool behind a password, store requests only on a private disk that is not reachable from the web, use one-time links for confirmation, limit form submissions to stop abuse, and give staff access only where needed. No system is perfectly secure; if a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
10. Children
Tanikhi is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top, and tell you directly about important changes if we hold your contact details.
